Instead of filling your stomach, however, Alli works by blocking the enzyme that is required to digest fat completely, so less fat is absorbed during digestion. There can be some gastrointestinal issues when taking Alli if you are still eating a high-fat diet.
4. Ultrasound Fat Cavitation
Ultrasound fat cavitation is an alternative to liposuction and is marketed as a noninvasive body sculpting procedure. This process uses ultrasonic waves to turn fat cells into fatty acids, which are then disposed of by the body. This treatment is not for people who are obese, however. This is a treatment for areas of stubborn fat that need to be toned instead.
5. White Kidney Bean Extract
White kidney bean extract has been popping up in new supplements for weight loss. Studies show that it may help block the enzyme that turns carbohydrates into sugar, which eventually gets stored as fat in your body. It should be noted that the extract is used in conjunction with a healthy diet and exercise regimen. It has also been noted to produce excess gas or bloating because, well, beans.
